- Check Your Plugins & Themes
The first thing you should do when you encounter a WordPress white screen of death is to check your WordPress plugins and themes. Check if any of them are causing the issue by disabling them one at a time. To do this, you can go to your WordPress admin dashboard and navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins. Here, you can disable each plugin by clicking the ‘Deactivate’ link next to each one.
- Check for Syntax Errors
If disabling your plugins and themes does not fix the white screen of death error, then you should check for any syntax errors in your WordPress files. To do this, you can use an FTP client to connect to your WordPress site and download the files to your local computer. Then, you can use a text editor to search through your WordPress files for syntax errors.
- Increase the Memory Limit
If you still cannot fix the WordPress white screen of death error, then you should try increasing the memory limit on your WordPress site. To do this, you can add the following code to your wp-config.php file:
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);
